Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I’m Billy. I am a fully qualified, insured and professionally registered (MBACP) Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor based in Brandon, Suffolk. I work with adults and young people.
I am a warm and compassionate practitioner and believe that the quality of the relationship between the therapist and client is part of the healing process. I offer a confidential and safe space, where we can explore together what matters to you, so you can make appropriate changes, feel in control of your life and personally develop through our work together.
The foundation of my work you would begin with providing you with a warm, safe environment and an empathic ear to listen and truly hear you. Working together with the use of exploratory questions to help you to gain greater understanding and insight into your problems. As every client is individual with unique past experiences, my way of working is reflective of this, by using a mix of different counselling approaches to best suit the needs of every client. This can be a mixture of person centered and psychodynamic approaches and cognitive behavioural therapy.
I have worked creatively with children and young people in groups and continue to work one to one with young people, providing counselling and support to clients with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated conditions. I am also experienced in counselling neurotypical (those without an autism diagnosis) young people on a one to one basis.
I am trained in LGBTQ+ issues and work with people from these communities.
During the past year, I have focused my work on mens’ mental health and how societal gender norms have a significant part to play in the high rates of depression and suicide in men within our society. In my work, I raise awareness of the origin of our individual belief systems whilst promoting and championing wellbeing, encouraging individuality and autonomy.

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It can be a suitable option for people seeking support for these issues.
One major advantage is the flexibility it provides – clients can connect with their therapist in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and maintain regular contact.
Licensed professionals and therapists offer online services, and it is possible to change therapists if a different fit is needed. For many people, online therapy provides accessible and effective support while allowing them to choose the mode of communication that feels most comfortable.
