Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Psychologist and Psychotherapist specialising in trauma, relationships, domestic violence and sexual violence as well as personality disorders, addictions and attachment disorders. The experience of trauma can range from abuse, accidents or injuries, natural disasters, war or combat, neglect, loss or grief, witnessing violence amongst many. The experience of trauma differs in each of us and can equally accumulate over time if not explored and addressed how this has impacted you. A key area at times, is the attachment we have to others and how this develops, and shapes our relationships, friendships and familial relationships as well as work relationships.
I have worked within the UK NHS Service for more than 25 years, and have treated inpatients, outpatients who have experienced acute stress, traumatic stress symptoms, chronic anxiety, relationship issues, intimacy related issues, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress and complex post traumatic stress where clients may have experienced a series of traumatic life events. I also have experience working with anger management and addictions in young adults as well as older adult mental health.
I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey to find the strength in moving forwards and live a better quality of life.

Samantha Holt is a psychologist and psychotherapist who specialises in trauma, relationships, domestic violence, sexual violence, personality disorders, addictions and attachment disorders. She is based in the United Kingdom and has 4 years of clinical experience.
She works with people who have experienced a wide range of traumatic events – including abuse, accidents or injuries, natural disasters, war or combat, neglect, loss or grief, and witnessing violence. Samantha recognises that trauma affects each person differently and can accumulate over time if its impact is not explored and addressed.
A central focus of her practice is attachment and how early bonds shape relationships, friendships, family dynamics and workplace interactions. She has supported inpatients and outpatients presenting with acute stress, traumatic stress symptoms, chronic anxiety, relationship and intimacy-related issues, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress and complex post-traumatic stress where multiple traumatic events may be involved.
Samantha also has experience in anger management and working with addictions in young adults, as well as older adult mental health. She aims to create an open and safe environment in which thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment, and she supports and empowers people to take the first courageous steps toward change and a better quality of life.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating significant life changes – online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person work for most people.
A major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best – via video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and maintain continuity of care.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different fit. Online therapy offers a practical and accessible route to regular support and guidance while keeping the focus on effective, evidence-informed approaches to common mental health and relationship concerns.
