Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Dear Concerned,
First and foremost, thank you so much for your very valuable time in taking a few moments to look at my profile/bio page.
I am fully qualified and credited with the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy), and have a BA Honours Degree in Counselling; based and living in the UK; with over seven years of experience as a professional therapist and coach; after a previous life as a qualified accountant in the aerospace industry, senior management/director roles in financial services, a corporate banker; set-up/ran successful sole trader / limited companies; then going on to have a mental breakdown (admitted myself to a psychiatric hospital) a broken man; losing almost everything including my life; then my rehabilitation/recovery and life-rebuild journey began.
A survivor of liver cancer after having had a liver resection operation now cancer-free, during which time my brother passed of the same horrible disease; and here I am in real-time, in a fantastic headspace; in a position to help you with your problems, issues, concerns, and anything else from my life journey that I can help you with by going on our own journey “together”; getting you into a much better place with your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and future aspirations.
Rest assured, I am only too happy to share them with you which include the many ups and downs in my life and professional work career, and the many mistakes made which I can now try and help/advise you not to make the same; but also the many positives from my previous successes in life, business, and different work-settings which I can also pass on, especially with how I have managed to turn my life around from a place of total darkness and despair to now, in real-time again; being healthy, happy, focused, pro-active, in a safe headspace, and so full of positive energy to mention just a few.
I work with people from around the world; and will do everything I can through my total devotion, commitment, and dedication to pass this on to you my very valued, and respected client as you are the person who is my Number One priority.
I am here for you to help, and talk things through with the ultimate goal of getting you into this better place with your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and future aspirations.
I have experience in helping with –
Substance Misuse; Addictions; Depression; Stress & Anxiety; Trauma; Abuse; Motivation Issues; Self-Esteem; Loss and Grief; Relationships; Family Conflicts including Child Custody Battles; Confidence Issues; Cancer (my journey from a liver resection operation to clear of cancer); Safeguarding & Self-Care; Mindfulness & Focusing Therapy; Work and/or Employment Problems which include Sole Traders/Partnerships/Limited Companies in many different work sectors.
Education Establishments — School/College/University Issues.
I will work with you to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment and always in a safe space. In turn, I always offer the core conditions of empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard in all my therapy sessions.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am so proud of you for getting started. More importantly, you are the one who should be mostly proud of taking this first step. It was the same for me when I first came into therapy; that fear, and uncertainty. Now I look back, and say it was the best, and bravest thing I ever did was to ask for help. When we do reach out we can start facing the many challenges, and uncertainties that life throws at us in a much better place.
My approach to therapy is very relaxed, and you have nothing to fear.
Anything be it big or small please bring it to our sessions as this again is your space to talk these things through, and whatever the problems are we will always try and find the best solutions for them.
In turn, and, hopefully, I look forward to working with you, and being by your side on our journey together helping you with my ‘Passion Statement’, which is –
“to help with your problems, issues, and, concerns through my total commitment, devotion, and dedication; helping you go on to have a much better life”.
Again, thank you so much for your time today.
Kind regards,
Ray,

Before training as a counsellor he worked as a qualified accountant in the aerospace industry, held senior management and director roles in financial services, and worked as a corporate banker. He also set up and ran sole trader and limited companies. Following a severe mental breakdown that resulted in admission to a psychiatric hospital and substantial personal losses, he began a long process of rehabilitation, recovery, and rebuilding his life.
He is a survivor of liver cancer after undergoing a liver resection operation and is now cancer-free; during that period his brother died from the same disease. Raymond draws on these lived experiences, along with his professional background, to support people navigating complex emotional and practical challenges.
He works with people from around the world and describes his clients as his number one priority, bringing commitment and dedication to each relationship. As a male therapist he is able to work with a wide range of backgrounds, including Christian and non-religious clients, conservative and liberal perspectives, and older adults.
Raymond aims to create an open, non-judgemental space where thoughts and feelings can be explored. He brings the core therapeutic conditions of empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard to every session and uses a relaxed approach that encourages people to bring any issue, large or small.
He has experience supporting people with substance misuse and addictions, depression, stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation and confidence issues, self-esteem, loss and grief, relationships and family conflicts including child custody disputes, cancer-related experiences, safeguarding and self-care, mindfulness and focusing therapy, work and employment problems affecting sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, and issues arising in schools, colleges and universities.
Taking the first step toward therapy can take courage; Raymond recognises that uncertainty and supports clients through the early stages of seeking help, offering guidance drawn from his own recovery and professional practice to help clients move toward healthier thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and future aspirations.
