Michelle Corrigan

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

My Counselling and therapy sessions will be from a person centred place, working in the here and now and what leads you to where you are now. Dialogue is both verbal and sometimes with energy. We will work through together what is on your mind, what is blocking you from growth and how you can move forward and implement change.

My therapy style is warm and interactive and I treat everyone as an individual.

We can explore your outer world – what is causing distress, and also your inner world – how is this affecting you, your mind, emotions, and physically as the body stores your stress.

I am an Integrative Counsellor with my roots in Person Centred and Humanistic theories and approaches. I am informed by Gestalt Practice and have experience in Yoga and Shamanism. I work creatively and treat everyone as unique. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support, hold space and empower you.

I look forward to seeing you.

About

Michelle Corrigan offers counselling and therapy from a person-centred perspective, concentrating on the here and now and the factors that have brought someone to their current situation. Her approach focuses on understanding what is happening in the present moment and exploring the experiences shaping each individual.

Conversations are primarily verbal and can at times include energy work. She collaborates with clients to explore what is on their mind, identify obstacles to growth, and plan practical steps to move forward and implement change.

Her style is warm and interactive and she treats each person as an individual. Sessions can examine the external sources of distress as well as the internal experience – how difficulties are affecting thoughts, emotions, and the body, noting how stress can be held physically.

Michelle is an Integrative Counsellor with roots in Person Centred and Humanistic theories and approaches. Her practice is informed by Gestalt practice and she has experience in Yoga and Shamanism. She works creatively and acknowledges each person as unique, and she is a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Michelle recognises that seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. She is available to support, hold space and empower those ready to take that step and looks forward to meeting people who choose to begin that work.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether online therapy can genuinely help. For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. A major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which often makes it simpler to fit therapy into a busy life. Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients can choose a different therapist at any time if they prefer a different fit. For common mental health and life challenges, online therapy offers an accessible, adaptable option that many find helpful.
