Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Lyndsay, welcome to my profile let me tell you a little bit about myself, how I work and the services I offer. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor practicing in the UK, I work with adults in a variety of settings including online, charities and private practice. Being an Integrative Practitioner simply means I use a blend of techniques, theories and approaches where therapy is tailored to meet your specific needs, these include elements of CBT- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person Centred Therapy and Psychodynamic Approaches.
I believe at some point in our lives we all face difficulties and deserve the right to make sense of what is causing us distress whist moving toward positive change and improved mental health. Having spent four years living in mainland UK and ten years living in the USA, I bring a wealth of life experience working with individuals from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds has been instrumental in shaping my ability to be non-judgemental and accepting of all.
As a qualified professional I offer an authentic, welcoming, safe and non judgemental environment where we can journey together. I work in a simple down to earth and relatable way where respect and empowerment are at the core of my approach and I will be there alongside you to support you every step of the way.
I have experience in working with clients presenting with anxiety, panic, depression, low-self esteem, stress, loneliness, procrastination, relationship issues, grief, trauma, addiction, abuse, eating disorders, self-harm and suicidal ideation. I consider myself a warm and compassionate person and would be honoured to support you in your quest toward positive change and happiness.
