Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, it is good to meet you.
My name is Lucia. I am a credentialed therapist in the UK with 4 years of professional work experience in a wide range of settings and with a range of clients.
I have experience in helping clients with many issues, in particular, childhood trauma, addiction, gambling, sex addiction, ADHD, domestic abuse and depression and anxiety. I also work for the NHS in their gambling addiction service.
I will work with you where you are at and go at the pace that you want. Some people want to work very fast and deeply and explore patterns in their life that are holding them back. They appreciate my analytical way of working. Others want to work more slowly and focus on their emotions and pain and they appreciate my empathy and ability to really listen and understand what they are going through. Sometimes people need a mixture of both approaches.
I don’t belive that I have all the answers. I am a professional but you are the expert on your life and I trust you to know what is right for you (even if you don’t trust yourself yet). I work with you, collaboratively, to unpick what is and isn’t working in your life and to help you enjoy your life more, to change distructive patterns and to learn to accept and forgive yourself.
I believe that a lot of our pain comes from not liking ourselves and not accepting who we are. A core part of our work together is to learn to appreciate and value your worth and strengths as an indivdual. Life is so much better when we understand ourself and have compassion for ourself, no matter what we have done.
I follow different psychological approaches depending on what feels appropriate at the time, including psychodynamic, person centred and TA.
Our first few sessions will all be about getting know each other and for me to learn about you, and for you to decide if you would like to work with me. It is very important that you feel comfortable and safe with the therapist you work with, so please do take your time to find the right person for you and use the initial sessions to make that decision and to check that you feel comfortable.
Therapy doesn’t cure everything and doesn’t have all the answers but it can really help and be a very powerful tool. Often it can be life changing. By providing a non judgemental space for clients my aim is that they become more aware of the things in their lives that are holding them back and can make positive changes in their lives.
Taking the first step to see a therapist and to explore our lives in more depth takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
Please note I only work during the day and not evenings (UK time GMT) or weekends (however I do often work with international clients and because of the time difference it is often evenings for them).

Lucia Fleet is a UK-based credentialed therapist with 3 years of professional experience across a range of settings and client needs. She supports people dealing with issues such as childhood trauma, addiction including gambling and sex addiction, ADHD, domestic abuse, depression and anxiety, as well as stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, family and parenting challenges, grief, intimacy-related issues, eating and sleeping problems, anger, career transitions, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes and compassion fatigue.
She also works for the NHS in their gambling addiction service, bringing specialist experience in that area. Lucia adapts her approach to meet each person where they are – some people prefer a faster, analytical style that explores life patterns and underlying dynamics, while others need a slower, emotion-focused pace that prioritises feeling understood. Many clients find a blend of these approaches is most helpful.
Lucia describes therapy as a collaborative process: she does not claim to have all the answers and treats the person in front of her as the expert on their own life. Together with clients she aims to identify what is and is not working, reduce destructive patterns and build greater self-acceptance and forgiveness. A central focus is helping people recognise their worth, develop compassion for themselves and use that understanding to improve daily life.
Her practice draws on a mix of psychodynamic, person-centred and transactional analysis (TA) approaches, using whichever methods feel most appropriate for the work at hand. The first few sessions are devoted to getting to know one another and to allow the client to decide whether Lucia is the right fit; she encourages people to take their time to find a therapist they feel comfortable with.
Lucia only works during daytime hours (UK time – GMT) and does not offer evening or weekend appointments, although she frequently works with international clients for whom sessions may fall in the evening due to time differences.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of contact that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to stay connected when in-person meetings are impractical.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is needed it is possible to switch to another therapist. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible and practical route to consistent psychological support.
