I am a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor. Before qualifying as a counsellor I had over 20 years experience working with the NHS, and other care sector providers, supporting within health visiting, sexual health, older persons mental heath and special educational needs and disabilities.
Are you looking to explore your motivations, relationships, self-esteem, identity? Are you experiencing depression, anxiety, a sense of dread or feeling overwhelmed by the challenges life presents? I believe that through openness and talking therapy, we can search for meaning, leading to greater self-awareness, growth, and change. I offer a non-judgmental and supportive therapeutic space where we can explore together.
As a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor my approach focuses on exploring the roots of your emotions, thoughts and behaviours. By bringing unconscious dynamics to the surface, we can understand how past experiences shape your current life. Together we can uncover patterns contributing to your distress. I offer one-to-one therapy online, and by phone. Sessions are usually once a week. We can work together on a short-term basis, or in an open-ended way, depending on your needs.
I became a counsellor because I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. My core values are empathy, openness, and respect, and I strive to provide a space where clients feel heard and supported.
Communities: BIPOC , Body positivity, Open-Relationships/Ethical Non-Monogamy, LGBTQIA+, Sex Positive.
Get in touch to arrange an initial consultation to discuss your counselling needs. I look forward to supporting you on your journey towards greater well-being. Please note that the days I currently offer sessions with Better Help are Monday and Wednesday.
