Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I am a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor. Before qualifying as a counsellor I had over 20 years experience working with the NHS, and other care sector providers, supporting within health visiting, sexual health, older persons mental heath and special educational needs and disabilities.

Are you looking to explore your motivations, relationships, self-esteem, identity? Are you experiencing depression, anxiety, a sense of dread or feeling overwhelmed by the challenges life presents? I believe that through openness and talking therapy, we can search for meaning, leading to greater self-awareness, growth, and change. I offer a non-judgmental and supportive therapeutic space where we can explore together.

As a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor my approach focuses on exploring the roots of your emotions, thoughts and behaviours. By bringing unconscious dynamics to the surface, we can understand how past experiences shape your current life. Together we can uncover patterns contributing to your distress. I offer one-to-one therapy online, and by phone. Sessions are usually once a week. We can work together on a short-term basis, or in an open-ended way, depending on your needs.

I became a counsellor because I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. My core values are empathy, openness, and respect, and I strive to provide a space where clients feel heard and supported.

Communities: BIPOC , Body positivity, Open-Relationships/Ethical Non-Monogamy, LGBTQIA+, Sex Positive.

Get in touch to arrange an initial consultation to discuss your counselling needs. I look forward to supporting you on your journey towards greater well-being. Please note that the days I currently offer sessions with Better Help are Monday and Wednesday.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people ask whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. A major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life. Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch therapists if they need a different fit. For a wide range of everyday mental health needs, online therapy provides an accessible, flexible option for receiving professional support.
