Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I trained as a counsellor after having taught adults, teenagers and children for many years. Throughout this time, I witnessed how a lack of mental health support impacted on people’s lives – both my students and my colleagues. It is this lack of support that brought me to counselling as a second career. I believe that good, quality counselling can change people’s lives – it can help to heal wounds from childhood, change perspectives and outlooks on life, bring greater understanding to one’s own personality, beliefs and actions, and much more.
When you come to me you can expect a warm, non-judgemental approach, always putting you in control of the session. I use an integrative approach, combining cognitive behaviour therapy, solution based counselling, gestalt therapy and person-centred therapy. If you need to just talk, I will listen; if you need to change your negative thought patterns, I can guide you through the process and teach you how to challenge those thoughts; if you have a focus in mind, I can tailor the sessions to said focus. I have successfully worked with trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, health anxiety and phobias, among other things.
I value working with clients for whom English may be a second language and my English teaching background enables me to be patient and understanding when people may be struggling to find the words.
If you feel that I may be the right person to help you, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can meet with a therapist in the way that suits you best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
