Many people wonder whether online therapy can deliver meaningful results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that works best for them, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to engage in care from different locations.
Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they need a different fit. Online therapy can be a practical, effective option for many seeking support, offering access to evidence-informed approaches in a variety of convenient formats.
