Leanne Bartrip is a qualified BACP-registered therapist with over ten years of experience supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. She holds a degree in Psychotherapy and is currently completing a Master’s in Psychology, further developing her understanding of human behaviour and mental health.
Her practice is pluralistic, drawing on several therapeutic approaches so that each session can be tailored to an individual’s needs. Leanne’s work is primarily informed by Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and she has additional training in other therapeutic modalities to allow flexibility in the therapy process.
Across her career she has supported people with low mood, anxiety, self-esteem difficulties, domestic violence, trauma, self-harm and neurodevelopmental challenges. Her style is compassionate, collaborative and client-led, with a focus on helping individuals build resilience, self-awareness and emotional wellbeing.
Leanne currently works within the NHS, providing therapeutic support to both adults and children. She has also worked across various counties and organisations, offering counselling and emotional support to people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Outside of work she enjoys adventures with her dog, Rex, and cosy evenings watching movies with popcorn. She likes motorsports, getting lost in a good book, and looks forward each year to a family retreat to a cabin in the woods to reconnect with nature and recharge.
