Kirsten Cook is a qualified counsellor based in the United Kingdom. She has four years of experience as a counsellor and fifteen years of experience working with young adults who have behavioural and learning difficulties.
She works in a person-centred, integrative way that aims to help each person find their own path. Kirsten seeks to be approachable, non-judgmental and calming, adapting her skills to suit each individual.
Kirsten has experience supporting victims of crime, including sexual, domestic and substance-related abuse, among other issues. Drawing on her own life experiences, she hopes to help at least one person feel less alone.
Her goal as a counsellor is to sit alongside people in difficult times, offering gentle challenge when appropriate and helping them find a light when they are ready. She looks forward to speaking with prospective clients.
