Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor and I can also offer hypnotherapy privately. My website is milestonetherapies.co.uk. I am based in South West England, just inside Devon, on the border of Cornwall.
My background is in Psychology. I have a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Liverpool, and an MSc. in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics (LSE). Previous roles prior to undertaking professional training as a psychotherapist include being a research psychologist at LSE. I am currently training to be a clinical supervisor to fellow therapists.
My specialist areas include anxiety (I am an affiliate for Anxiety UK) as well as bereavement (I do work for Cruse as a support worker and also as a supervisor). In addition, I specialise in confidence and self-esteem issues.
We all feel a little lost at times. Maybe you have had to face changes or challenges that you are finding difficult to deal with. Maybe you need to talk things through with someone impartial like me, who will hold your issues in a confidential, non-judgemental and safe space. Perhaps you need guidance and help in achieving your goals, whatever they may be. Remember that you are not alone. I am here to help you find your way and to live your best life. My style is warm and open.
I have a breadth of training which means I can work in a pluralistic way, using my skills to incorporate whichever techniques will serve you best at any particular time in your counselling journey.
Taking the first step is always the most difficult but please reach out to me and remember that your peace and happiness are worth investing your time in.
