Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
About me. I’ve had a life full of international travel. Spent a lot of time as an expat in an official capacity in East and West Africa, and South America. The experiences of these various cultures has enriched my life and my training as a counsellor. I studied to PhD level in the 1990s and now have just completed my L4 qualification in Integrative Counselling. I have completed over 200 hours of work with all kinds of clients and it has been a rich and rewarding experience. I feel that I have a lot to offer clients. The main qualities are the core conditions ie, empathy and unconditional regard for my clients, whatever their presenting problems. I have had wonderful feedback from those I’ve helped and have seen the power of the therapeutic relationship between client and counsellor as a vehicle for change. My style of counselling is very relaxed. I believe life is like a safari, a journey inside and only by exploring ourselves, whether its our past, our views or experiences that we can truly understand who we are and why we act in the way we do.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – clients can choose the format that feels most comfortable, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it easier to fit therapy into day-to-day life.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and if a client feels they need a different fit they can switch to another therapist at any time.
