Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi! My name is June. As you can see, I’m an older person. I’d like you to consider using me as your therapist because I am older. I have had many of the feelings you are experiencing myself. I’ve had some tough times and poor self esteem and worked through life shifts. I am able to teach some things that are only learned with age. I’ve practiced my skills for over 20 years. I went back to school late in life because I overcame struggles and wanted to help others do the same. I’ve seen a lot so I’m less judgmental.
It’s normal to feel uncomfortable when first starting therapy. I may challenge you but will do so safely. I love therapy, listening to others and sharing what I can. You will find I work hard for you.
The techniques I use are varied to my clients comfort. I believe all behaviors are for a positive intention. Some just don’t work anymore. I’d like to teach you new behaviors for that same intention that will work better.
I now live in Montana in the summer and Arizona the rest of the year. I am licensed to work with people from both states and no other states.

June OConnor is an experienced therapist who brings 25 years of practice and the perspective of an older clinician to her work. Having navigated her own difficult periods, including times of low self-esteem and major life shifts, she returned to school later in life and chose a path of helping others do the same.
She has refined her counseling skills for more than two decades and approaches clients with a less judgmental, seasoned outlook that comes from having seen a wide range of life experiences. June values listening and takes pride in working hard for the people she supports.
Her style is warm and straightforward – she may offer challenges when appropriate, but does so within a safe therapeutic framework and with respect for each person’s comfort. June uses a variety of techniques tailored to what feels right for each client, working from the belief that behaviors are attempts to meet positive intentions and that new, more effective actions can be learned to serve those same intentions.
June holds professional licenses to practice in both Arizona and Montana and divides her time between the two states, spending summers in Montana and the remainder of the year in Arizona. She is licensed to work with people from those two states and not from other states.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that best suits their needs, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to maintain continuity over time.
Licensed professionals provide care online, and if someone feels a different fit would be better, it is possible to switch therapists. For many everyday mental health needs, online therapy offers a practical and effective option to access professional support.
