I have worked as a Psychotherapist/Counsellor and Life Coach successfully with many clients and have over 25 years experience helping clients get from where they are now to where they want to be using a variety of methods. Having worked with hundreds of clients over the years, the key to the results they achieve is to ensure that we are a good fit together. The initial call ensures that.
I work in a variety of ways according to the needs of the individual. I see that people are not their behaviours and are doing the best that they can with what they have. Everyone therefore has the resources within themselves to change and to achieve their maximum potential in life and to EXPAND upon it, RIGHT NOW.
Central to my work is the quality of the relationship and rapport between client and therapist. I provide a confidential, safe and trusting environment in which the person is free to explore their deep issues, ridding themselves of any limiting decisions and finding a totally positive way to move forward.
The different counselling methods I use include CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Person Centred, Humanistic, Gestalt Therapy, Integrative, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Time Line Therapy and Hypnosis, and Breakthrough/(Life Coaching)
Whatever approach I use, I provide that ‘space’ where you can explore and be ‘Yourself’ without any judgement and to further your journey. In my experience the quality of the client-therapist relationship is by far the one of the most important aspects in enabling you to be ’empowered’ and ultimately to totally transforming your life.
Treatment and interventions I use have all proved highly successful. For example, Time Line Therapy/Coaching is a very fast, cost effective, long-lasting and successfully proven technique. During this therapy, You and I work with the Unconscious Mind to get to the root cause of the problem.
In a BREAKTHROUGH (Life Coaching) session we not only work together to totally eliminate any negative emotion, limiting beliefs and phobias but during the sessions your values (which are responsible for motivation) are realigned and you get help with your future goals. The MindSonar® Profile Measurement Tool will also help you understand your thinking patterns in a specific context.
The end result is that you get rid of all the ‘baggage’ that you may have been carrying over the years. This means you won’t have to return to counselling.
