Dr. Julie Bradshaw MBE has practised as a psychotherapist, counsellor and life coach for more than 25 years, guiding hundreds of people from where they are to where they want to be using a range of therapeutic approaches. She begins with an initial call to ensure a good fit, which she sees as essential to achieving meaningful results.
She adapts her work to the needs of each individual, operating from the view that people are not defined by their behaviours and are doing the best they can with the resources they have. Her approach assumes clients already possess the inner resources needed to change and to expand their potential right now.
Central to Dr. Bradshaw’s practice is the quality of the relationship and rapport between therapist and client. She provides a confidential, safe and trusting space where clients can explore deep issues, remove limiting decisions and find constructive ways to move forward.
The techniques she uses include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred and Humanistic approaches, Gestalt therapy, Integrative methods, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy, hypnosis and Breakthrough life coaching. Time Line Therapy is described as a fast, cost-effective and long-lasting technique that works with the unconscious mind to address root causes.
In Breakthrough (life coaching) sessions Dr. Bradshaw works to eliminate negative emotions, limiting beliefs and phobias, while helping to realign values that drive motivation and to clarify future goals. She also uses the MindSonar® Profile Measurement Tool to help clients understand their thinking patterns in specific contexts.
The intended outcome of her work is that clients shed the ‘‘baggage’’ they have carried, reducing the likelihood of returning to counselling. Dr. Bradshaw welcomes clients online anywhere in the UK and worldwide and looks forward to speaking with prospective clients.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, research and practice indicate that online therapy is often as effective as in-person treatment.
One major benefit is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to fit therapeutic work into a busy life.
Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. For many people, remote sessions offer a practical, accessible route to consistent therapeutic support.
