Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Idaho with 3 decades of professional social work/counseling experience. I have a master’s degree from the University of Illinois. My background has primarily been in the mental health field besides the very important area of chronic health issues. I have had a private practice the last 10 years that focused on trauma, grief and chronic health issues besides depression and anxiety. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, coping with grief, coping with loss, & depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My counseling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate with a pretty good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I am here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgement. Online counseling is fairly new, and I’ve found it to be really effective for many issues. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility – you can connect with a therapist in the format that fits your life, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to attend sessions and keep therapy consistent.
Licensed professionals provide care through these options, and if someone decides they need a different fit they can switch to another therapist at any time. Online therapy can be an effective and convenient way to work on everyday mental health concerns while keeping treatment tailored to the individual’s needs.
