Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Greetings! I am a licensed professional counselor and have been a professional School counselor for the past 20 years. I started a private practice 9 years ago.
My philosophy of therapy is all about building a solid relationship with you. You will need to feel you can trust me first. I also believe that each person holds their own answers to life’s questions. You have the wisdom and strength inside of you to know what to do. I am here to support you and walk beside you on this part of the journey.
Trying therapy for the first time takes courage. It can also be hard if you have tried therapy in the past and didn’t have a good experience. People are different, so not every therapist or type of therapy will fit the best for every person. You will know what is best for you and I will always respect your right to choose that.
Please feel free to reach out and let me know if you are interested in working together!

Jennifer Pelo is a licensed professional counselor who brings decades of experience working with young people and families. She has served as a professional school counselor for the past 20 years and established a private practice nine years ago, combining that background to support clients in and beyond the school setting.
Her approach to therapy centers on establishing a strong, trusting relationship first – she believes clients need to feel safe and heard before meaningful work can begin. Jennifer also trusts that each person carries their own wisdom and resources; her role is to support and walk alongside clients as they explore solutions and build on their strengths.
Trying therapy for the first time often requires courage, and a previous negative experience can make returning to therapy feel difficult. Jennifer recognizes that not every therapist or method fits everyone, and she respects each person’s right to choose what works best for them.
She is licensed to practice counseling in both Colorado and California, with professional license details available as CO LPC 0012333 and CA LPCC 17938, and she maintains a warm, respectful presence when working with clients on concerns such as stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, grief, sleep difficulties, self-esteem, career challenges, depression, and related struggles.
Jennifer is based in Colorado and welcomes inquiries from those interested in working together. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to learn more or schedule a first appointment.
Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can actually help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can choose the format that feels most comfortable, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. For many people, the convenience and comparable outcomes make online therapy a practical and effective way to get support.
