Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida with over 9 years of clinical experience working with children to teens, adults, and families that struggle with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, LGBTQ+, difficulty with adjustment, behavioral and parenting challenges .
I have specialized training and experience working with those who are struggling with a wide range of traumatic experiences caused by domestic violence (verbal, physical and sexual abuse), childhood abuse and neglect, sexual violence, combat related experiences and natural tragedies. Unhealed trauma often results with an individual who will struggle with managing chronic stress, anger, depression, anxiety, addictions, health disparities, low self-esteem and relationship issues.
My counseling style is client driven and strengths based. Trust and having a non-biased, non-judgmental approach are the most important aspects of the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist.
I utilize various therapeutic modalities that include Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT), Rational Emotive Therapy, Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Psychoeducation.
