Jennifer Covington understands how everyday demands - combined with current events, family conflict, marital strain, and challenges managing a child’s mental health - can create an overwhelming mix of stressors. She recognizes that juggling work, family, and self-care often leaves little room for relief, and she approaches each person’s situation with practical support and steady partnership.
With a focus on making meaningful improvements rather than chasing perfection, she collaborates with clients to address anxiety, depression, behavioral health concerns, and other barriers that interfere with daily life. She works with a broad range of issues including stress, addictions, relationship and family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy and eating concerns, sleep difficulties, parenting challenges, anger management, self-esteem, career problems, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and compassion fatigue.
Jennifer provides therapy to residents of North Carolina and brings 13 years of clinical experience to her practice. She is a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina and uses a person-centered approach along with solution-focused strategies, cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and motivational methods. She designs conversations and treatment plans to match each individual’s specific needs and goals.
When someone is ready to begin working toward a better life, Jennifer is prepared to take that first step alongside them and support the process of change.
Many people wonder whether therapy delivered remotely can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
A major benefit is flexibility - clients can choose the communication method that fits their life, whether video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to attend sessions around work, family, and other commitments.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and clients may switch therapists if they prefer a different match. For a wide range of everyday mental health needs, online therapy offers a practical and effective way to get support.
