I understand how daunting it can feel, taking that initial step in reaching out for support. We know that life can be challenging, stress and anxiety are very much a part of life, especially in this current climate of uncertainty. It takes courage to reach out for help, allow me to help you, as it is exactly what I am trained and experienced in doing. Let me first begin by introducing myself to you.
My name is Jacqueline John aka Jacqui and I am based in London England, working remotely and Internationally under UK law guidelines.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist Counsellor who has over 35 years’ experience of providing helping services to individuals, couples, families, young people and the bereaved. I am a counselling member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), and I work within the ethical framework, and abide by the code of good practice. Client feedback described me as warm, accepting, non-judgmental, insightful and usefully challenging.
As an integrative counsellor, I will use the style of counselling which is best suited to your individual need, by exploring present issues and past experiences. These styles can vary between Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Existentialism, and the Psychodynamic approach, within a Person Centred framework.
I run my own private practice and provide counselling services for external organisations and charities, working with individuals of differing genders, sexual orientations, faiths and cultures.
I offer short term and long term contracts which we can discuss along with your hopes or expectations of counselling during our initial session.
Please note that I am not available on Saturday, Sundays, and Bank Holidays, however, I shall always endeavour to respond to all enquiries within 24hrs.
