Jacqueline John understands how daunting it can feel to take the first step in reaching out for support. She recognises that life brings challenges and that stress and anxiety are common, particularly in times of uncertainty, and she is trained and experienced to help people navigate these difficulties.
Jacqueline John, also known as Jacqui, is based in London, England and provides remote therapy, working internationally under UK law guidelines. She is an Integrative Psychotherapist Counsellor with 36 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, families, young people and those who are bereaved.
She is a counselling member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and practises in line with its ethical framework and code of good practice. As an integrative practitioner, Jacqueline adapts her approach to suit each person’s needs, drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Existential ideas and Psychodynamic methods within a Person-Centred framework to explore present concerns alongside past experiences.
Client feedback has described her as warm, accepting, non-judgmental, insightful and usefully challenging. Jacqueline runs her own private practice and also provides counselling for external organisations and charities, working with people of differing genders, sexual orientations, faiths and cultures.
She offers both short-term and long-term arrangements, which can be discussed along with a person’s hopes and expectations during the initial session. Jacqueline is not available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays, and she will endeavour to respond to enquiries within 24 hours.
