Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a mental health counselor in WV and NC. I love working in the helping field. I have 15 years experience with School Counseling, Mental Health Counseling and Substance Abuse Counseling. I have done everything from running treatment centers for addiction, to providing case management support for people with Schizophrenia. I have worked with 100’s of clients, and each story is inspiring and incredible. The resiliency I see in the people I work with just proves how powerful the human spirit can be.
Some other personal things about me, I am also a dance instructor. I love to tap and learn new forms of music. My friends call me a searcher, because I am always wondering about science and space or how the universe ebbs and flows. I enjoy reading nonfiction books mostly, typically about how a person has experience trauma and came out the other side to help others.
I am currently working as a School Counselor in WV, but I missed the clinical aspect of my career. So, I am using this online platform to provide counseling to those who may not have access to transportation or just prefer the online experience. I am comfortable working with you if you have experienced trauma, have depression, anxiety, bipolar dx, ADHD, adjusting to a new situation, relationship issues, LGBTQA, addiction, etc. All clients are welcome. I’m very excited to start working with you.

Heather is a licensed professional counselor in West Virginia, and she combines her clinical experience with an appreciation for practical, real-world challenges that affect daily life. Her years of practice include work with students and community members across developmental and clinical settings.
Outside of counseling, Heather teaches dance and enjoys tap as well as exploring new musical styles. Friends call her a searcher because she frequently wonders about science, space, and the larger patterns of life. She reads mostly nonfiction, often focusing on stories of people who have experienced trauma and later helped others.
She currently works as a school counselor in West Virginia but sought to reengage with the clinical side of her profession. To do that, Heather offers online counseling to increase access for people who face transportation barriers or who prefer remote sessions. She is comfortable working with individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, addiction, relationship challenges, LGBTQA concerns, adjustment issues, and parenting or family conflicts. Heather welcomes all clients and is eager to begin working with new people through online care.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the connection method that works best for them – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it simpler to integrate therapy into a busy schedule or when transportation is limited.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible way to engage in regular treatment while retaining many of the therapeutic benefits of face-to-face care.
