Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome!
It can be daunting starting therapy, especially if you are new to it. I’m here to guide you along this journey.
I’m Hayley, a qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. My core approach is psychodynamic therapy, which explores how past experiences shape your present thoughts, emotions, and relationships. However, I know that no single approach fits everyone, so I adapt my methods to suit your unique needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic models I’ve studied.
I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Whether you’re struggling with grief, trauma, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or just feeling stuck, I’m here to help you untangle what’s holding you back and move toward meaningful change.
What matters most is that you feel heard and understood. My role isn’t to give advice or quick fixes, but to support you in developing insight, self-compassion, and the confidence to make the changes that feel right for you.

Hayley Cook is a qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a formal qualification in counselling practice. With four years of experience, she works primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, helping clients explore how past experiences influence current thoughts, emotions and relationships.
Hayley adapts her approach to fit each person’s needs, drawing on a range of therapeutic models she has studied rather than relying on a single method. She offers a compassionate, non-judgmental space where people can move at their own pace to examine feelings and patterns that may be holding them back.
She supports clients experiencing grief, trauma, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship difficulties or a general sense of being stuck, helping them develop greater insight, self-compassion and confidence to make changes that feel right for them. Her role is not to provide quick fixes or simple advice but to accompany clients as they work toward meaningful, lasting change.
When someone chooses to work with Hayley, she will make contact to learn more about the circumstances that brought them to therapy, agree the preferred method of meeting – such as video, phone or live chat – and arrange the first session so the therapeutic work can begin.

Many people ask whether remote counselling can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy can be as effective as in-person sessions for supporting progress and well-being.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the way of meeting that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability often makes it easier to include therapy alongside work, family and other responsibilities.
Therapists providing online support are licensed professionals, and clients can change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online formats can provide a practical, accessible route to consistent therapeutic work for many people.
