Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed Person-Centred/Integrative therapist in the UK with more than 10 years of professional work experience.
Born in Germany to Turkish/Muslim parentage, I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression and OCDs, autism and ADHD, addiction and eating disorders.
Key especially in my work are relationships: however we (want to) authentically relate to others and indeed towards ourselves. Be they LGBT+, vanilla, BDSM/kink-related, polyamorous or because of felt obstacles due to a more conservative cultural or religious upbringing – or indeed you having reasons to believe your upbringing lacked in either attention, love or nurture.
Either way, you dear reader, will be in my safe space, beyond any value judgements but instead assured confidentiality, safety and acceptance (Please refer to BetterHelp’s privacy policy for more information on confidentiality).
Now, being German, I don’t do happy. But I do coping skills.* Those I’ll forge with you accordingly through our work, me pointing you towards the things you can repeatedly (put into) practise by the homework(s) I give you (bit patronising, but it works), assuring you soon seeing the positive change you would like to.
You having reached out for help is already one of the most important steps to do: well done! Keep up the work, I’m here for any questions or concerns you might have.
Best,
Hal
*those last longer anyway, trust me
