Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed professional counselor in Michigan with over 25 years of experience working as a psychotherapist, academic and personal counselor, and life strategist. I am a musician who has played in working rock bands for the last 16 years I have worked with clients who have experienced career disillusionment, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, career challenges, general anxiety and social awkwardness, and feelings of emptiness. I have also worked with many who have experienced and survived physical trauma and/or emotional abuse, as well as severe and persistent mental illness.
My therapy style is sincere, person-centered, authentic, and interactive. I have primarily served BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and Bilingual (Spanish) persons navigating many issues including immigration (both documented and undocumented persons), complex systems of oppression and discrimination, and intercultural issues. I’ve also worked with persons who are in adulthood traversing early and mid-life changes and problems of everyday life.
The cornerstone of any human interaction is mutual respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and focusing on those will help us move toward self-awareness to improve how we face and address the challenges of this ever-changing world. My therapeutic approach combines relational cultural therapies with strengths-based, narrative, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapies. We will work together to create a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and goals for growth and awareness.
Taking the first step toward leading a more fulfilling and gratifying life takes courage. You are taking that step by reaching out and seeking a thought partner to work through the areas you are most ready to address, and I am ready to work with you towards finding more of your inner power and strength.
I look forward to hearing from you so we can get started on your personal journey!

For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical practice suggest that remote sessions can deliver meaningful benefits for these types of issues.
One of the primary advantages of online therapy is flexibility. Individuals can connect with licensed professionals in the way that best fits their lives – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to maintain continuity of care amid busy schedules or geographic limitations.
Therapists who provide remote services are licensed professionals, and if a different therapeutic match is desired, clients typically have the option to change providers. For many people, online therapy offers a practical and effective route to addressing common mental health and life challenges while accommodating personal preferences and routines.
