Francesco Rizzo welcomes visitors to his online office and invites them to begin a new personal journey with open-ended possibilities. He founded Anchored Mind Psychotherapy as a solo practice in 2022 and provides high-quality psychotherapy to clients across New Jersey, offering both in-person and online sessions.
With 13 years of clinical experience, Francesco focuses on assessment, therapy, and treatment planning for individuals, couples, and families. His practice addresses a range of concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance-related issues, using evidence-based approaches to guide care.
Francesco practices as a licensed marriage and family therapist in New Jersey (NJ LMFT 37FI00193600) and also holds an LCADC credential. He aims to create a supportive setting where people feel heard, understood, and free from judgment, and he works to equip clients with practical tools and strategies for change.
Francesco looks forward to partnering with new clients on their therapeutic goals. Please note that this service is not appropriate for crisis situations or for anyone in immediate need of emergency help; in a crisis call 911 or local emergency services, or call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) to speak with someone right away.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For a wide range of common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life transitions - research indicates that remote therapy performs comparably to traditional in-person treatment for most clients.
One of the key benefits is convenience and flexibility. Individuals can choose the format that works best for them - video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging - which makes it easier to build therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.
Licensed professionals deliver online care, and you can request a different therapist at any time if you want a better fit. For many people, virtual therapy offers an effective, adaptable way to address everyday mental health needs while fitting treatment around life commitments.
