Fauzia Hoque is a fully qualified and highly professional Person Centred Counsellor who works with individuals facing a broad range of difficulties, including substance misuse, depression, anxiety, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, gender identity concerns, couples issues, and loss and bereavement.
In addition to her private practice, she works in a secondary school setting where she incorporates play therapy so young people can explore and express themselves in ways that are age appropriate and natural to them. She also uses art in sessions with both adults and children as a way to communicate experiences when it is hard to find the right words.
Fauzia is committed to supporting people to be their authentic selves. She draws on different therapeutic models and skills to tailor sessions to each person’s needs and takes a holistic approach to her work, placing importance on the therapeutic relationship as central to successful therapy.
If someone would like to work with Fauzia or has questions, they are encouraged to get in touch.
Many people ask whether therapy delivered online can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility - individuals can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into everyday life.
Therapists who offer online services are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they would prefer a different fit.
