Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I’m Emma, an integrative online counsellor, passionate about offering a safe, inclusive space for individuals to explore their challenges and develop the tools to live a balanced life. With 15 years of experience in supportive roles within the NHS and Higher Education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and empathy to my practice on Betterhelp.
I offer both traditional counselling for life stressors and specialised support for those dealing with Eating Disorders (please note I am unable to work with anyone with a BMI of 18 or under online, or individuals who present with Anorexic behaviours or thoughts) and Emotional Eating. My approach is easy-going, relatable, and non-judgmental, and I am committed to working alongside you, empowering you to build resilience, make positive changes, and restore balance in your life.
My counselling ethos began when I identified how we often need to seek balance in many areas of our life and how challenging that can be! Whether it’s managing work/life stress, creating a healthy relationship with food, or addressing unhealthy patterns and habits. It’s also about finding equilibrium between self and others, dreams and reality, needs and wants, order and chaos, or control and freedom. I’m here to help you navigate these challenges and find a healthy balance in all aspects of your life.
As someone with lived experience of neurodiversity, I bring a unique understanding to my work, ensuring that all individuals feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether through video calls, telephone or live messaging, I aim to create an environment where you can feel safe, respected, and fully supported on your journey to healing.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be comparable to traditional in-person sessions for most typical issues.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the mode of contact that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapy delivered remotely is provided by licensed professionals, and if someone decides they need a different fit they are usually able to switch therapists at any time.
Overall, online therapy offers a practical, accessible option for people seeking support for everyday mental health challenges, with a range of contact methods to match individual needs and preferences.
