A Compassionate Space to Be Heard
Hi, I’m Clare — a warm, down-to-earth, and experienced pluralistic counsellor. I offer a space where you can feel safe, listened to, and never judged.
You don’t have to face things alone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, anxious, or simply in need of some clarity, I’m here to help you make sense of what’s going on — and to support you in moving forward at your own pace.
Together, we’ll work towards building resilience, confidence, and a stronger connection with the real you — the self you may have hidden or forgotten.
My Approach
I tailor each session to you — drawing from a wide toolkit including person-centred counselling, coaching, NLP, and trauma-informed support. We’ll work collaboratively, focusing on what matters to you most.
Who I Work With
I support adults from all walks of life, including neurodivergent clients, carers, creatives, people navigating life transitions, and those dealing with stress, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, or a loss of identity.

Appointments are designed to fit around life – Clare provides flexible weekday and evening availability and will try to accommodate requests when an offered time does not suit. Weekend sessions are available on Saturday mornings (45-minute sessions) and Sunday mornings (45-minute sessions).
Clare works with a wide range of concerns including stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, depression, ADHD, addictions, family matters, trauma and abuse, grief, parenting challenges, career questions, and coping with life changes. She also offers coaching and support for compassion fatigue. Clare is a female therapist, is gay, works with older adults, and practises from a non-religious, liberal perspective.
Her approach is collaborative and tailored to each person – she draws on a toolkit that includes person-centred counselling, coaching techniques, NLP, and trauma-informed support. The aim is to help clients build resilience, increase confidence, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been hidden or lost.
Clare supports adults from many backgrounds, including neurodivergent clients, carers, creatives, and people navigating life transitions or a shifting sense of identity.
Her qualifications include an MSc in Counselling (Merit) and registered membership of the MBACP, a BA (Hons) in Community Learning & Development with association to the CLD Standards Council, accreditation as an NLP Master Practitioner and registered membership of MANLP, and a Level 3 Life Coach qualification with membership of AMACCPH. For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes – online therapy can be an effective alternative to face-to-face sessions. Research and practice indicate that these forms of support often produce comparable outcomes for these types of issues.
One major benefit of receiving therapy online is flexibility – people can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy around work, family, or other commitments.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients may change therapists at any time if they decide a different fit would work better. For many, the practical accessibility and range of communication styles available make online therapy a practical and helpful option when seeking support.
