Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Thank you so much for taking the first step!
My name is Nikki and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee. In my career as a therapist I have worked in Missouri, Illinois, and Tennessee, primarily working with families who are parenting kids with neurodivergence of some form. Within this work I have done individual, couple, and family therapy, with specific focus on all aspects of trauma and recovery. I have a holistic understanding of trauma and how we respond to it.
Within therapy I first and foremost use empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. These are based on Carl Rogers theories. I am a client-led therapist and will follow your lead in session. I believe that you are the expert in yourself and I am there to help you gain insight. Some other modalities that I am trained in include developmental trauma, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and minimal training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics by Dr Bruce Perry.

For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as in-person sessions. Research and clinical experience show that these issues often respond well to virtual treatment when delivered by trained professionals.
A major benefit of remote therapy is flexibility. Clients can choose the format that fits their needs and schedule, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to maintain continuity of care and to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they need a different fit. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible way to begin or continue mental health care with qualified clinicians.
