Charlotte O’Neill (Dip.Couns, MBACP) is a Person-Centred, client-led and Existential therapist based in the United Kingdom. Her qualifications include a Dip.Couns (Diploma in Counselling) and she is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
She adapts her approach to suit each person, drawing on different therapeutic modalities to provide a tailored, non-judgemental and safe space in which to explore what is troubling them. With three years of experience, she has supported many people through issues that affect day-to-day life - including anxiety, life changes, work-related problems and depression - helping them to move forward.
Charlotte recognises that starting therapy can feel daunting and aims to make the first step easier. She works at the client’s pace and to their agenda, offering support and gentle guidance while respecting that the client is the expert in their own life.
Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key advantage is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable to them, whether that is via video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they would prefer a different fit.
