Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
To begin with I would say, ”Let’s walk this path you are on side by side for a while— gently exploring what’s here, and what might lead you toward peace, purpose and a better way through life.’
To do this I work hard on keeping my skills and expertise at a place that supports you and during this process I succeeded in achieving an ‘Accreditated’ counsellor status with the BACP. Therefore I am licensed in the UK with 6 years of professional work experience. I continue to work on extending my skills and I am currently considering a research project . I am committed to doing the best I can to support you navigate the ‘curve balls’ life throws at us. My way of delivering therapy puts you firmly in the seat to do this. Some of the examples I can give you are helping with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & depression. You will receive respect, sensitivity, and compassion. With a mutually tailored plan to that meets your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. To be part of your journey to a better place.
My specialist therapeutic children’s and young person’s training benefits my adult degree training/experience and enriches my work with you as an adult. Some of the ways it helps is with attachment, families and childhood.
It is important to understand that counselling can sometimes be challenging and that there are times when you may feel tired after a session and perhaps a little worse overall before you begin to feel better. It is important then to look after yourself, to give yourself time. If you can after a session, I would suggest you take some time to reflect on the session and to do some self-care, perhaps go for a walk, take a bath, listen to some music, whatever it is that feels right for you.

Carole Ann Hart invites people to walk alongside her for a while – gently exploring what is present and discovering steps that may lead to greater peace, purpose and a more manageable way through life.
She maintains and develops her skills to ensure her practice supports clients effectively and has achieved accredited counsellor status with the BACP. Based in the United Kingdom, Carole has seven years of professional experience and is currently considering a research project to further extend her abilities.
Her approach places the client firmly in the driving seat while she offers respectful, sensitive and compassionate support. Examples of issues she works with include stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, and depression. Together with each client she develops a mutually tailored plan that meets specific needs.
Carole’s specialist training with children and young people enriches her work with adults, particularly around attachment, family dynamics and childhood experiences.
She recognises that counselling can sometimes feel challenging and that it is common to feel tired after a session or to feel worse for a short while before feeling better. She encourages clients to look after themselves after sessions – for example by taking time to reflect, going for a walk, having a bath or listening to music – whatever feels right for the individual.
Carole offers face-to-face and online sessions so that location and lifestyle do not limit access to counselling. She provides long- and short-term therapy as well as single-session interventions. She is polyamory aware, conscious uncoupling aware and uses goal-directed therapy when appropriate. Her practice includes support for non-recent sexual abuse and childhood trauma, anxiety, depression and low mood.
In March 2022 she completed menopause-related training with the Royal Society for Public Health and NHS Health England. She describes herself as menopause aware, sensitive, informed and responsive and can support clients to the same understanding. She will check what clients already know, break down clear information and check in to ensure they have the information and support they need to make their own decisions.
Many people wonder whether meeting a therapist online can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating major life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One key benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to weave therapy into a busy life.
Therapy delivered remotely is provided by licensed professionals, and if someone feels a different match would be better they can switch therapists at any time. Online work can offer the same therapeutic depth and practical support as face-to-face work while fitting around location and lifestyle.
