Belly Harding trained originally in media and communication before redirecting her career toward psychology, driven by a desire to help others. She is a doctoral candidate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy at Middlesex University and holds an MSc in Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University. She also completed a certificate in Humanistic Therapies and Existential Counselling at the Existential Academy-NSPC and holds a life coach certificate from the Coaching Training Institute.
Her work centres on helping people realise their potential, find greater fulfilment, and make sense of difficult experiences. She offers both therapeutic support and personal development through an open, non-judgmental, and empathetic approach, creating a safe space to address issues and encourage growth, self-discovery, and authenticity.
Belly uses an integrative model that blends Existential therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches to tailor treatment to each person’s needs. Her clinical experience spans a wide and diverse range of presentations, including domestic violence, trauma, couples work, anxiety, depression, and divorce, and she also offers Christian counselling.
With six years of professional experience and a practice based in the United Kingdom, Belly can provide therapy in both English and French and works with clients across many areas such as stress, relationships, self-esteem, addictions, grief, parenting, career concerns, and coping with life changes. She is committed to supporting a diverse clientele and to helping people manage suffering while moving toward greater resilience and well-being.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or to access support from a distance.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they prefer a different fit. Online work can be a practical, effective option for many people seeking support.
