Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name Annie and I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years experience as a therapist. I have worked with a number of clients with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, substance abuse, and parenting issues. I also have a great deal of experience working with the geriatric population.
I received my educational training at Fordham University in New York City as a Master of Social Work. My professional training included working at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center on the dual diagnoses unit as well as Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Bedford, NY.
My counseling style is a very open, warm, and relaxing exchange. I believe in a client-centered approach, and the most important aspect of the therapist/client relationship is for the client to feel comfortable. My approach includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, and is tailored to meet the needs of each client individually.
I am aware of how difficult it can be to ask for help especially when one is at a low point in their life. I am here to accept, support, and guide you through this challenge and journey. It will be my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for your consideration!
