Anna Claybaugh (pronouns: she/her/hers/they/their/theirs) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps people build greater connection and authenticity so they can experience more joy and wellness. She supports individuals who struggle to speak their needs, prioritize themselves, or accept that they deserve abundance in life - including people pleasers, highly sensitive people, caregivers, and those in healing professions.
As a queer clinician, Anna is especially committed to working with members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. She guides clients in identifying what blocks them, learning practical coping skills, and reclaiming the agency to create the life they want. Her work blends a direct, compassionate approach with an emphasis on culturally-informed care - drawing from decolonized, trauma-informed, and compassion-centered frameworks.
Anna brings a warm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental style to therapy that aims to make sessions feel inviting and supportive. She integrates knowledge of brain science with established psychotherapeutic methods to offer a holistic, tailored treatment plan. Anna holds unconditional positive regard for the people she works with and focuses on helping clients feel supported and successful in meeting their goals.
She has 10 years of clinical social work experience and has trained in multiple evidence-based modalities, allowing her to adapt the therapeutic approach to each person’s needs and preferences. Anna earned two bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Gender Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Social Work from New York University. She is certified in Collaborative Problem Solving through Think:Kids at Massachusetts General Hospital and also holds certifications in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory.
Anna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker authorized to practice in Oregon and Arizona (OR LCSW L7813 and AZ LCSW LCSW-21995). For more information, visit www.CoCreatingwithLove.com or find CoCreatingWithLove on Instagram.
Note: If someone is experiencing major depression, active suicidal ideation, or is currently unable to leave their bed or room, Anna recommends working with another therapist who may be better suited to support those immediate needs.
For many common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes - online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person care. It can be a strong option for people seeking accessible, evidence-informed support for these kinds of issues.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. Clients can meet with their therapist in whatever format feels most comfortable - video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or to engage from wherever feels most convenient.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients are free to switch therapists if they need a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers a practical, effective way to address everyday mental health concerns while maintaining flexibility in how and when they connect with a therapist.
