Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Mandy. I’ve been a counselor for 14 years and I’m an accredited therapist. I work in a person-centered way, creating a safe, compassionate space for you to explore whatever you need to at your own pace.
We can start by working in the present—focusing on what’s going on for you right now. If and when you feel ready, we can gently explore deeper patterns through a more psychodynamic approach. That might include inner child work, which can be a powerful way to heal old wounds. But if you’d prefer to stay in the present, that’s completely okay—we can work with CBT and mindfulness-based strategies to help you feel more steady and clear.
My approach is flexible and always guided by your needs. Sometimes I create meditations for clients to support them between sessions, but the main focus is helping you identify and experience the underlying feelings that may be at the root of your challenges. It’s about building resilience in your mind, learning to sit with discomfort, and starting to move forward in a way that feels less toxic and more empowering.
A big part of this work is learning to embrace painful feelings with care and compassion. I hold space in an empathic way, allowing those emotions to be felt and released in a safe environment—without judgment or pressure.
There’s no rush. You can move through things at your own pace. Some weeks you might want to talk about one thing, other weeks something entirely different. It’s an open, flexible space. You can have as many sessions as you feel are necessary, and you’re free to pause or stop at any time—whatever feels right for you.

Amanda “Mandy” Roberts is an accredited therapist with 14 years of clinical experience who practices in a person-centered way, offering a safe and compassionate space for clients to explore what they need at their own pace.
She often begins work by focusing on the present – helping clients make sense of what is happening for them now. When a client feels ready, Mandy can gently explore deeper patterns using a psychodynamic approach, which may include inner child work to address longstanding wounds.
If a client prefers to remain in the present, Mandy uses cognitive-behavioural techniques and mindfulness-based strategies to promote steadiness and clarity. Her approach is flexible and always guided by each person’s needs.
She sometimes creates bespoke meditations to support clients between sessions, while keeping the primary focus on identifying and experiencing the underlying feelings that often lie at the root of difficulties. The work centres on building mental resilience, learning to sit with discomfort, and beginning to move forward in ways that feel less toxic and more empowering.
Mandy holds space in an empathic, non-judgemental manner, encouraging the careful acceptance and release of painful emotions. There is no rush – clients are invited to move through material at their own speed, with the option to have as many sessions as they need and to pause or stop therapy at any time.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and coping with life changes – online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best – by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging – which helps make therapy easier to fit into daily life.
Each therapist involved in online work is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to change therapists if they would prefer a different fit. This combination of evidence of effectiveness and practical convenience makes online therapy a useful option for many people.
