Andy Green

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected — you’re not alone. Life can be difficult to make sense of at times, especially when we don’t feel able to open up to the people around us. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, low mood, past trauma or relationship struggles, therapy can offer the space to explore things safely and begin to feel more in control.

I aim to offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you — past and present — and help you gain new insight into your thoughts, feelings and patterns. My goal is to support you in working towards meaningful, lasting change.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of approaches and adapt our work to suit you as an individual. No two clients are the same, and I aim to keep our work responsive, flexible and grounded in what feels helpful for you.

Before training as a therapist, I spent 20 years working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. My experience includes supporting people with anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship issues, anger, and mental health challenges. I also worked closely with people around behaviour change, emotional regulation, and understanding their own thought/feeling patterns.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I adhere to their ethical and practice guidelines, keep up to date with new research, undertake regular further training in my professional development and attend supervision. I hold a clear, enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.

I have experience of working with a range of issues including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, self-esteem and low self worth, family issues, trauma, challenging childhood experiences, bereavement, OCD, stress, relationship problems and patterns of relating, guilt, shame, self harm and suicidal feelings.

I offer both short and long term counselling and psychotherapy for adults and young people.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether meeting a therapist online can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or major life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional face-to-face sessions.

One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the way they connect with a therapist that feels most comfortable – video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging – making it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.

Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and if someone feels another approach would suit them better they can switch to a different therapist at any time. This adaptability, combined with the practical convenience of remote sessions, makes online therapy a useful option for many people seeking support.
