Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Counselling is a relationship that can provide you with the right environment to enable you to gain understanding and acceptance of who you are or how you relate to others. It’s my practice to give those seeking my support a safe, non-judgemental space to do just this. Whether you have depression or anxiety; have experienced loss, isolation or feel a lack of meaning or even feel a sense of hopelessness. We will work together to help you to manage your difficulties and help build your resilience so that you may better face future challenges or difficulties.
I will work with you in a mainly person-centred way to help you work through the issues that bring you to counselling. We may look at strategies and coping mechanisms, or look at options to help you make decisions about your life. But most importantly being heard and understood is the most effective tool used in counselling.
Just imagine what it would be like to say what you thought or felt without fear of being judged whilst being accepted for who you are. My goal as a counsellor is to ensure you feel heard and to work alongside you.
I have experience of working in Talking Therapies and have worked within a service providing support to those in suicidal distress. I have worked with a wide range of client groups from different age groups, including those who identify as neurodivergent and/or within the LGBTQI+ communities.
