Tessa Price

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I am licensed in the UK with 3 years of professional work experience. I have extensive experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, & depression. I work with coping with life changes, and help clients feel at one with themselves, find their own identity and self confidence and self belief. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
The way in which I work is to use three models of therapy:
Person Centered – this means the therapy is very much tailored towards you, your life and your needs. We work with what you want to bring to each session;
Transanalytical Therapy – this looks at how the past has structured our behavioural responses in certain situations. This can include looking at trauma. By understanding WHY we do things and behave in certain ways, we can then unlearn that learnt behaviour and work on behaviour and emotions that are more positive and life enhancing;
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy – the two models above tie into this…this models helps us to further understand our NOW perceptions and allows us to introduce tools to help unlearn that unwanted behaviour and emotion. The tools I work with are very much based on you and your life. The intention is to integrate these tools into your life so that we carry them out subconsciously. They need to be tailored to you or else they will not be successful.
To help you on this journey I help to create a positive, safe atmosphere where you feel you are able to disclose issues without fear of judgment. I always ensure that you leave the session emotionally safe and are able to continue with the day to day life issues that come your way.
It gives me great pleasure to see clients ending their journey with me in an emotionally happier state than when we first met. It is one of the best ways to spend the gift of time.

About

Tessa Price is a UK-licensed therapist with four years of professional experience, specialising in stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, and depression. She supports people navigating life changes and works to help them reconnect with themselves, discover their identity, and build self-confidence and self-belief.

She approaches therapy from a collaborative perspective, holding the view that each person is the expert on their own story and already possesses strengths that can be used to face challenges. Seeking support is a courageous first step toward a more fulfilling life, and Tessa aims to empower and accompany clients through that process.

Tessa integrates three therapeutic models to meet each person’s needs. A person-centred approach means sessions are shaped around what the client brings and what matters most to them. Transanalytical Therapy examines how past experiences have influenced current behavioural responses, including patterns that arise from trauma, so that unhelpful learned behaviours can be understood and changed. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy complements these methods by focusing on present perceptions and introducing practical tools to alter unhelpful thoughts and actions.

The interventions and tools she offers are tailored to the individual so they can be incorporated into everyday life and become automatic supports over time. Tessa creates a positive, non-judgmental atmosphere where clients can share openly, and she ensures people leave sessions feeling emotionally safe and able to continue with day-to-day responsibilities.

She finds it rewarding to see clients finish their work together in a more emotionally positive state than when they began, and considers that outcome among the most meaningful uses of her time.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or coping with life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.

A key benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their routine and comfort, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to include therapy in a busy life.

All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and if a different therapeutic match is needed, it is possible to switch to another practitioner. Online therapy can offer a practical, effective route to support for many of the concerns people commonly bring to counselling.
