Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Joanne and I can help you to improve your relationships, reduce your anxiety, and escape from depression and/or the pain of bereavement and loss. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Signing up for therapy takes courage, so well done for taking this first step.
I am an accredited member of the BACP with NHS experience. This involved working with a variety of therapeutic issues and with people across a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
I am trained in both psychotherapy and CBT. The latter being particularly effective for treating anxiety. I am also qualified to work with depression using Person Centred Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD), which is evidenced based and endorsed by the NHS. I am also trained to work with relationship issues, as well as with bereavement and loss. I specialise in working with academics and students. I am also a qualified and certified pet bereavement counsellor.
In our first session together we can discuss your unique and specific needs. I am flexible and I offer online, telephone and instant messaging sessions, in the evening and at the weekend.
So if you’re willing to make a change, and you’re ready to build a pathway to a brighter and more peaceful future, then together we can find a way…
