Hello, I have had 15 years experience in the mental health field, 9 years being a licensed therapist and drug and alcohol counselor. I graduated from Doane University, Nebraska in 2015 with a Masters in Counseling. Most of my experience has been with Older Adults, adolescents, Adults, Families, Couples, and Substance Abuse. I utilize treatment approaches of CBT, DBT, Existential, Client-Centered, Reality, Narrative, and Solution-Focused. I focus on the approach that works best with my clients. Building a great rapport with my clients is important to me to help them face problems and achieve goals. Personally, I am a wife, a mother of three young children, a daughter, sister, and friend. We all have many roles in life and I like to help people find a balance in those roles and find their purpose and meaning in life.

Many people ask whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility – people can meet with a therapist in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to maintain consistent care.
Licensed professionals provide these services, and if someone feels a different fit would work better, they can switch therapists at any time. Overall, online therapy offers an accessible option for many common mental health and life concerns while preserving the professional standards of traditional care.
