Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed professional Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in the UK. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, PTSD (Trauma) and disordered eating such as binge eating.
When I work with my clients, I like to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I have lots of experience working with trauma, disordered eating (binge eating) and addictions. And because I have lived experience in these areas, I understand the struggles that go alongside these.
My therapy style is integrative which means I have lots of different therapy styles and modalities in my toolbox. Therapies such as Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred and many more. This is great because not one therapy style suits all, so this approach is great for helping you find the right therapy for you.
I also do a lot of trauma work through somatic, holistic, subconscious, and mindfulness interventions. Somatic means ‘of the body’ which means working with the body. Somatic interventions such as the Flash Technique are great for helping with PTSD and Trauma.
Thank you for reading a bit about me. I know it takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Tania Danielle Thacker is a licensed professional Psychotherapeutic Counsellor practising in the United Kingdom with 4 years of experience. She supports people facing stress, anxiety, addictions, PTSD and trauma, disordered eating such as binge eating, low self-esteem, depression, and the challenges of coping with life changes.
She aims to create an open, safe space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Tania draws on both professional training and personal lived experience in areas such as trauma, disordered eating and addictions, which informs her understanding of the difficulties clients often face.
Her approach is integrative, using a range of therapeutic methods to suit each person’s needs. She works with Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred techniques and other modalities, adjusting the mix of tools to fit the individual rather than relying on a single method.
A significant part of her practice focuses on trauma work delivered through somatic, holistic, subconscious and mindfulness-based interventions. Somatic work – meaning work with the body – addresses bodily responses and sensations, and somatic interventions such as the Flash Technique are employed to help with PTSD and trauma.
As a female, older, non-religious therapist who also offers coaching, Tania is committed to supporting and empowering people who are ready to take steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect in the way that suits them best – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and individuals may switch therapists if they prefer a different fit. That flexibility and professional oversight make online therapy a practical option for many seeking support.
