Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma, Missouri, & New Jersey, & Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah. I have 5+ years of experience in this field. I have experience in helping clients with depression and anxiety, trauma and abuse, and many other concerns. I most enjoy working with clients between the ages 18-35. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, regardless of background. Working with those who are from more marginalized populations and concerns related to these areas (2SLGBTQIA+ populations, women’s issues, religious trauma, racism, physical health concerns or disabilities, etc.) is a passion of mine, but I am happy to work with those who are not part of these populations as well, if your needs meet my scope of practice. Please note that if you are outside of the age range or areas of knowledge that I work within, I may request that you switch to a different therapist. I will tailor our treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and vulnerability, and I am proud of you for getting started!
*Please do not schedule a session with me until you have received your first message from me! Thank you!*

Sydney Pruett is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma, Missouri, and New Jersey, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah. She holds the license identifiers MO LPC 2023022228 and NJ LPC 37PC00969900, and brings six years of clinical experience to her practice.
She works with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, stress, relationship and family issues, grief, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue. Sydney most enjoys working with clients ages 18-35 and approaches care with respect, sensitivity, and compassion regardless of background. She is a female therapist who identifies as gay and has a particular interest in supporting people from marginalized populations – including 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, those navigating women’s issues, survivors of religious trauma, people affected by racism, and those managing physical health concerns or disabilities.
Sydney customizes treatment plans to meet each client’s specific needs and will discuss appropriate referrals if a client falls outside her preferred age range or areas of practice. She recognizes that beginning therapy takes courage and vulnerability and aims to support clients through that first step. She asks that potential clients not schedule a session until they have received their first message from her.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and practice have shown that virtual care often delivers comparable outcomes for these types of issues.
One of the primary advantages of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit care into a busy schedule or to access support from different locations.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may choose to switch providers at any time if they need a different fit. For many people, the convenience and breadth of options offered by online therapy make it a practical and effective way to pursue mental health support.
