Stacy Scarisbrick is a counsellor trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, psychodynamic and person-centred approaches. She brings four years of experience to her practice in the United Kingdom and is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, working in line with the standards and guidelines it sets.
Stacy places strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, believing that feeling safe and secure with a therapist is central to progress. She aims to create a non-judgmental environment where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and move toward greater empowerment.
Her areas of focus cover a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, bipolar difficulties, addictions, eating and sleeping problems, low self-esteem, anger, career and work-related stress, family and relationship issues, trauma and abuse such as sexual abuse and domestic violence, birth-related difficulties including postpartum depression, birth trauma, miscarriages and infant or baby loss, as well as grief, parenting, intimacy-related issues, financial pressures and coping with life changes. Stacy also offers coaching and identifies as a female, non-religious therapist.
