Getting a cancer diagnosis, supporting someone who has cancer, or living with the long-term effects of cancer treatment can stir up intense emotions and practical challenges. Fit matters. It’s okay to try a few sessions to see if a therapist’s style and expertise feel right to you. If you are a caregiver, look for clinicians who understand the unique stresses of caregiving and can offer practical strategies to reduce burnout.
