Francesca Redden is credentialed in Australia and brings 10 years of professional experience supporting people through a range of challenges. She works with stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, self compassion, healing relationships, motivation, self esteem and confidence. She also supports people coping with life changes and transitions, including relationships ending and career changes.
As a body-based somatic counsellor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Francesca focuses on helping clients develop greater safety in the body and build resources that make daily life feel easier and more manageable. She holds the view that each person is the expert of their own story and that many strengths already exist within that can be more fully realised.
Francesca is a qualified counsellor and a Clinical Supervisor with PACFA. Her practice is trauma-informed and person centred, attending to each person’s needs and meeting them where they are.
Her work draws on a range of modalities including nervous system healing, inner child healing, inner parts work, Internal Family Systems, shadow work, Nonviolent Communication, mindfulness, mindful self-compassion and healing from birth trauma. Francesca recognises that reaching out for support takes courage, and she offers steady, compassionate support while people explore possibilities for healing and change.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable to traditional in-person sessions in effectiveness.
One key benefit is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to access support from different locations.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and clients can change therapists if they would prefer a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides a practical, effective option for addressing everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
