I am a qualified Person Centred counsellor with 14 years professional work experience. I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and as such adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and also the BACP Guidelines for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I specialise in bereavement, traumatic loss and PTSD, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, OCD, and clients who have been diagnosed with a personality disorder and Bipolar. I have also helped many clients who have experienced childhood and adult trauma, physical, emotional and sexual abuse.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with compassion, respect and sensitivity.
My approach is mainly Person-Centred, along with solution focussed and humanistic therapies. The underpinning principles of the Person-Centred Approach are focused on the counsellor being honest, non-judgmental and fully accepting whilst being fully integrated in the relationship allowing the client to lead and set the pace. I aim to offer these conditions as best as I can during our working relationship.
It takes a lot of courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.

Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For most common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or managing life changes – online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
An important benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that suits them best: video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. That variety makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and if someone feels they need a different fit they can switch to another therapist at any time.
