Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there, I’m Ronville!
I am a licensed mental health Counselor based in Jacksonville, Florida. My statewide clients range in age from teens to seniors and have challenges with anxiety, stress, and depression. I aim to help clients mirror their actual selves with their ideal selves.
My Approach to therapy is client-driven, but I use person-centered therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy mostly. I also believe in a Holistic approach, which incorporates the total person.
My style of being an approachable listening ear allows teens as well as adults to relax and know they have a safe place where they can discuss LGBTQ issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ODD, ADHD, Bipolar, Grief, stress/anger management, Military/veteran issues, parent-child relationship Spiritual and couples counseling. I help clients navigate life’s trials by building skills as they transition in age, school, adulthood, marriage, and spirituality.
My communication style is nonjudgemental, no matter where my clients are or what issue they may be dealing with. I pride myself on being a good listener, easy to talk and having a sense of humor.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist because I wanted to help. I love seeing the transformation when clients know what makes them tick and realize that they have the power to make changes. I have always been a therapist, whether in the military, with friends and family, in the nonprofit arena, or in spiritual settings.
My approach to goal setting is that the client is in charge. I believe that clients have something in mind when the schedule and we as a team will explore, develop, and complete our goal.
During the first session, the client may spend a lot of time answering questions such as what brought them to therapy, when it started, what has changed, etc. These questions are essential for developing a cohesive picture and knowing how to proceed. The first session builds a rapport by finding common ground with achievable goals.

Ronville Bertie is a licensed mental health counselor based in Jacksonville, Florida. He holds FL LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) MH23354 and has six years of experience providing therapy to clients statewide. His caseload includes people from their teens through senior years who are working with anxiety, stress, and depression.
His work is client-driven while drawing primarily from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. He also values a holistic approach that attends to the whole person when appropriate.
Known for being an approachable listening ear, he creates a space where teens and adults can feel relaxed and supported while discussing LGBTQ issues, PTSD, ODD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, grief, parenting and parent-child relationships, military and veteran concerns, stress and anger management, spiritual matters, and couples counseling. He identifies as a male, gay therapist and offers support across a range of personal and family challenges.
Ronville communicates in a nonjudgmental manner, prioritizes listening, and believes a sense of humor can help ease difficult conversations. He became a therapist because he wanted to help, and he draws on experience from the military, informal roles with friends and family, nonprofit work, and spiritual settings.
In therapy he places the client in charge of goal setting and works collaboratively to develop and complete those goals. The first session typically focuses on questions about what brought the client to therapy, when concerns began, and what has changed since then—questions that help build a cohesive picture and establish achievable next steps.
Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be similarly effective to traditional in-person sessions for most typical issues.
A major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their life, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to integrate therapy into busy schedules or during life changes.
Each therapist offering online care is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides a practical and effective way to access consistent support.
