Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Robert “Tony” Bell and I am a licensed professional counselor in the State of Texas, with over 14 years of experience working in the mental health field. I am a Christian, and blessed with a wonderful wife, three amazing children, and six adorable grandkids (all boys!). My counseling experience covers the entire age spectrum from children and adolescents to geriatric patients, as well as couples counseling, in both individual and group settings. I have a variety of experience counseling people with depression, anxiety/stress, coping with grief and loss, addiction, low self esteem, relationship issues, family conflict, bipolar, and many other issues as well.
I first want to recognize you for your courage in reaching out for professional help. I would consider it a privilege to help you discover the peace and happiness that can be gained through the counseling process and how much better life can be. God created us to enjoy life, not just endure it. I will always treat you with respect and kindness in a non-judgmental environment, where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and experiences to ensure your goals and needs are met.
My approach to therapy would be described as eclectic, where I incorporate a variety of counseling techniques, including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. There are useful and effective aspects found in all modes of therapy, which can be blended to customize a treatment plan unique to each individual client in order to address their specific goals and needs.
